2. Ardhanarishvara is depicted as half male & half Female, equally split down the middle. Is a composite form of the Hindu Deities Shiva and Parvati. The male eye is depicted as smaller than the female one. A half third eye is prescribed on the male side of the forehead in the canons, a full eye may also be depicted in the middle of the forehead separated by both the sides and Parvati's round dot. Idols having four arms holding a trident, a lotus, a Kamdal & a Ashirwad Mudra.
3. Ardhanarishvara is hand carved from one piece of white marble.
